Coliance held a roundtable with some of its supply chain customers and friends. In it we discussed how 2020 had changed the way their organisations diversified from the plans they set out at the end of 2019. We also discussed how by leveraging technology especially better Integration technologies such as IBM’s Cloud Pak for Integration and traditional EDI solutions like IBM Sterling, they continue to reduce complexity and offer a better customer experience.

We then looked to the future, where sustainability was a big topic for all three of them, with improved Inventory visibility important, not only to source sustainable products but to ensure a continued reduction in carbon footprints, by reducing empty cargo miles, sourcing closer to the consumer and better movement of goods through ports.
