The Offshore Wind Growth Partnership (OWGP) has announced a new £2 million package to support the UK offshore wind supply chain.
It includes two new funding calls worth £600,000 aimed at bringing technology and companies from other sectors into offshore wind and giving firms already in the industry a chance to grow their market share.
A further £1.5 million has been allocated to the Sharing in Growth Programme to provide intensive business transformation support over the next year.
The latest announcement follows pilot funding calls worth £400,000 in January and hopes to aid the UK’s green recovery post Covid-19.
